Acceptance of Terms

The Service is provided by SecureClip ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SecureClip regarding your use of the Service. Your use of the Service indicates your acceptance of these Terms.

Service Description

SecureClip is a web-based clipboard sharing service that enables Users to:

• Store text content temporarily in encrypted format
• Generate unique 4-digit Clipboard IDs for content sharing
• Retrieve content using valid Clipboard IDs
• Delete stored content at any time
• Sync clipboard content across devices

The Service uses dual-layer encryption to protect content. We cannot decrypt or access User content due to our encryption model.

User Eligibility

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose

User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

4.1 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• All content you store, share, or retrieve using the Service
• The accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your content
• Ensuring your content does not infringe upon any third-party rights
• Protecting the confidentiality of your Clipboard IDs

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Store, share, or retrieve illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation
• Share content that violates intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Harass, stalk, or harm other individuals
• Collect or harvest personal information about others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to others' content
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to access the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's functionality

Clipboard ID Security and Access Control

5.1 Your Security Responsibilities

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for protecting your Clipboard IDs
• Sharing a Clipboard ID grants full access to the associated content
• We cannot recover content if you lose your Clipboard ID
• Clipboard IDs may be vulnerable to brute-force attempts (though unlikely)
• You should delete content immediately after use

Data Handling and Privacy

6.1 Data Storage

Content stored through the Service:

• Is encrypted using dual-layer encryption
• May be stored temporarily (subject to automatic cleanup)
• Cannot be accessed or read by SecureClip administrators
• Can be permanently deleted by Users at any time

6.2 Data Deletion

You may delete your content at any time. Deletion is:

• Immediate and permanent
• Irreversible (we cannot recover deleted content)
• Applies to all copies of the content

Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Service Ownership

SecureClip and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 User Content Rights

You retain all rights to the content you store and share through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store your content in encrypted form
• Transmit your content as necessary to provide the Service
• Perform technical operations required by the Service

This license terminates when you delete your content or when we delete it according to our data retention policies.

Service Modifications and Termination

8.1 Service Changes

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
• Change features, functionality, or availability
• Impose limits on certain features or restrict access

8.2 Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

8.3 User Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Deleting your content ensures it is removed from our systems.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Warranties

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureClip shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or similar that may be transmitted through the Service
• Errors or omissions in any content
• Content loss or corruption
• Any third-party conduct or content accessed through the Service

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SecureClip and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the Service
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights
• Any content you submit, post, transmit, or make available through the Service
• Your conduct in connection with the Service

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
